Legal Scales Penalty and Immunity

The law provides a penalty of up to $1,000 for a deliberate, bad faith denial of information that should be disclosed. It also provides immunity from liability for the release of records as long as there is a good faith attempt to comply with the law’s requirements. Idaho Code §§ 9-345 through 9-346.
