REDIFiT Transportation

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture recognizes transportation as an important issue and major challenge facing Idaho agriculture. Transportation is critical in the distribution of agricultural products and an important component of market development.

Therefore, the Division has been increasingly involved in the area of transportation and serves as a transportation resource for agriculture through: administration of the Rural Economic Development and Integrated Freight Transportation (REDIFiT) loan and grant programs; participantion in the Agriculture Transportation Coalition (AgTC) annual conference; and dissemination of transportation related information and opportunities.
